Indiana Conservation Voters

Indiana Conservation Voters champions legislation to improve our state’s environment, economy, and competitive edge.

Clean Air

Our state’s manufacturing base must reduce air pollution, especially in disadvantaged urban and rural communities.

Clean Water

Indiana ranks first in the nation in miles of polluted waterways. Agricultural runoff, industrial polluters, and recent state laws that attack wetlands have all contributed to this reality.

Clean Energy

Toxic, outdated coal-burning power plants are yesterday’s technology. By properly transitioning electricity generation to cleaner sources, Indiana can create high paying jobs, stop legacy pollution, and reduce utility bills for everyone.

Who We Are

Cooperation. Power. Integrity.

Indiana Conservation Voters (ICV), is a 501(c)4 affiliate of the League of Conservation Voters. We champion legislation to improve the state’s environment, economy, and competitive edge. By working with a wide range of stakeholders, and by educating lawmakers and the public about our priorities, together we can achieve meaningful change for all Hoosiers.

Mission

ICV ensures Indiana’s elected officials are accountable to Hoosiers who all deserve clean energy, clean water and clean air.

Values

We envision an Indiana where the voices of voters, impacted communities, and future generations are centered and where a new movement of engaged Hoosiers demands that their government prioritizes them and the land, air, and water on which they rely.
