Take the Pledge for Clean Water in Indiana
Hoosiers deserve clean water, from our tap water to recreational waterways. We believe that everyone has a right to access clean water free of pollutants, chemicals, lead, microplastics, to protect the health of our communities and future generations.
Unfortunately, Indiana has a serious water quality problem, ranking as having the most polluted waterways in the nation and of in the bottom rankings for tap water quality, and #50 in both natural environment and pollution (U.S. News & World Report, 2024). While Indiana’s water quality issues are serious and present risks to our health, environment, and wildlife, it does not have to be our future.
Every voice matters when it comes to protecting Indiana’s water, for now and the future. You can take action for clean water for all Hoosiers by taking a simple but powerful step; sign the Clean Water Pledge and show your commitment to protecting Indiana’s water.
By signing the pledge, you’ll join the movement of Hoosiers who advocate for clean, safe water. It’s a small but impactful action to raise awareness and support clean water in every corner of our state.
Here’s why signing the pledge matters:
- Support Local Water Protection Efforts: Indiana needs strong advocates to push for policies and programs that keep our water clean. Your voice can help.
- Build a Cleaner Future: Every action counts. When we come together, even small commitments create lasting change for our environment.
